The older brother of fellow ADD Management driver Akshay, Nikhil’s karting career began in 2017 as he quickly made his way up through the ranks after showing great promise.

Nikhil spent the subsequent years competing in senior karting events such as the German Karting Championship before making his single-seater debut in the ADAC Formula 4 Championship with R-Ace GP in 2021.

Using what he learned during his brief stint in the series, Nikhil also raced in the United Arab Emirates F4 championship, impressing with a fifth-place in the finale.

His progressing through the junior ranks continued with encouraging displays in Italian F4.

While a rostrum appearance did allude Nikhil in 2022, there were a lot of positives to take heading into the new year.

Nikhil continued his rise up the motorsport ladder with Italian outfit Trident in the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine (FRECA). He adapted to FRECA in quick fashion, securing a podium at Imola in only his second race.

While a combination of bad luck and difficult races plagued Nikhil’s chances of more frequent podium appearances, he ended the season well with a strong run of results which included two top five finishes to secure 12th in the final standings.

With a year’s experience under his belt, Nikhil will no doubt challenge for the major honours as he moves to MP Motorsport for the 2024 FRECA season.
