Lucas Alecco Roy tackles dual Formula 4 campaign with Van Amersfoort Racing

ADD Management are excited to announce that Lucas Alecco Roy will team up with Van Amersfoort Racing for a dual F4 campaign in 2019. Returning to the Dutch squad with whom he raced last year, Lucas will take on both the ADAC German F4 and Italian F4 Championship, in what will be his biggest challenge to date.

Having impressed since he first burst onto the racing scene back in 2017, Lucas enters the new season fresh off the back of his winter racing programme in UAE F4 Championship. Earning nine podium finishes, including three victories, Lucas finished fourth in the overall rankings, preparing him for an exciting year ahead.  

Speaking ahead of the exciting step in his career, Lucas said:
“My learning curve has been incredible and with each outing I gain more valuable experience. Competing in the UAE last winter has left me very well prepared for the upcoming championships. I can’t wait for the red lights to go out for the first time in Oschersleben in a couple of weeks.”

The 2019 season of the ADACFormula 4 Championship consists of 7 events with 3 races each weekend. The season kicks off on April 26th at Oschersleben and visits Red Bull Ring, Hockenheimring, Zandvoort, Nürburgring, returning to the Hockenheimring before the season finale takes place at the Sachsenring in the last week of September.

The Italian F4 Championship is made up of 7 race weekends with 3 races each. The series starts on May 5 that Vallelunga, followed by Misano, Hungaroring, Red Bull Ring, Imola and Mugello. With the season finale taking place on October 20th at Monza.
