Croatian racer Martin Kodric took a thrilling win and control of the Blancpain GT Series Asia Championship at Shanghai this weekend (22-23 Sept).

This weekend, Sacha Fenestraz had his first taste of GP3 on the Sochi circuit. The Renault Sport Academy driver gathered precious experience in an environment, which was totally new to him, in view of the forthcoming events.

Sacha Fenestraz went to Austria to race in the second-last round of the FIA Formula 3 European Championship. Despite a potential that gave him hope that he would add to his points tally and break back into the top 10 in the overall classification, the Renault Sport Academy driver didn’t have much success and had to be content with increasing his score in the rookies’ classification by eight points.

There was plenty of excitement in the run-up to the season finale of the ADAC Formula 4 at the Hockenheimring. The winner in the drivers' standings had already been decided ahead of time, but the competition to determine the champion in the special Rookie classification was still wide open. 15-year-old BWT Mücke Motorsport driver Niklas Krütten was one of the main contenders to win the Rookie classification. While he may not have done enough in the end to win the Rookie title, he finished eighth in the overall standings thanks to better results in general and consequently, is the best newcomer this year in the ADAC formula racing series. He achieved something that no other rookie has managed to do this season, take a race win and a total of three podium finishes in the overall standings.

It was the penultimate race weekend of the Formula 4 Italian Championship for Niklas Krütten and BWT Mücke Motorsport. On the challenging Autdromo Vallelunga just outside the Italian capital of Rome, the Formula 4 rookie from Trier had an uphill struggle for almost the entire weekend. His car had a bad case of gremlins, which manifested itself in a lack of engine power.

This weekend Sacha Fenestraz arrived at the Nürburgring in Germany to race in the eighth round of the FIA Formula 3 European Championship. The Renault Sport Academy driver made consistent progress in qualifying and was the quickest driver of his team, as well as bagging a good haul of points in both the overall and rookies’ classifications.
